    R. J. Corman Railroad Services: 100 Strong at Wisconsin Rehab Project

    R. J. Corman Railroad Services’ construction team provided two rail gangs and a tie gang, totaling over 100 employees, to help Canadian National (CN) complete a rehab project in Wisconsin. R. J. Corman employees joined forces with CN to complete the project within a six-week window.

On May 6, crews began working at Superior Subdivision in Wisconsin. In combination, the three gangs used over 70 pieces of equipment to replace over 10,000 ties and over 100,000 linear feet of rail. That included nine CX spikers, six spike pullers, four M322 excavators, four hi-rail grapple trucks, three ballast regulators, three tie handlers, three TRIPP machines and 20 pieces of other specialized equipment along with several light-duty vehicles and mechanic trucks.

Canadian National was highly satisfied with the results of the project, and on June 15 the two companies were able to complete the project within the timeframe given and with zero injuries or incidents.
